Different types of ultrasonic generators

Because people in the industry have different ways of looking at problems, the classification methods of ultrasonic generators are also different. Most of them are classified in the way of generating frequency. There are two kinds: self-excited ultrasonic generator and other excited ultrasonic generator.

1: Self excited ultrasonic generator:
The self-excited ultrasonic generator does not require a special oscillator and no starting circuit. The high-power switch tube is also used as the oscillation tube. The ultrasonic transducer itself is a capacitive element, and an inductor is added to form a series resonant circuit. After the power is turned on, the circuit will self-excited oscillation, and feed back the oscillation signal to the high-power switch tube, which will be amplified by the switch tube and then sent to the resonant circuit. The whole circuit is a closed-loop loop loop. The generator generates enough power to keep the transducer resonant automatically. The self-excited ultrasonic generator has the advantages of simple circuit, large volume and unstable output. It is suitable for the cleaning application of low-power generator. It can also be combined in parallel with unit circuit to drive high-power transducer.

2: Other excited ultrasonic generator:
The separately excited ultrasonic generator mainly includes two parts:

One is the front stage oscillator and the other is the rear stage power amplifier. The switching pulse generated by the oscillator is used to control the on and off of the switch tube, and the ultrasonic energy is transmitted to the transducer through the coupling of the output transformer. The circuit structure of the separately excited generator is more complex than that of the self-excited generator, but the generated signal frequency is stable and can be used in a wide range, Flexible control, especially non stage switching output, high efficiency and high power.
